As our time in England draws to a close, I'm posting things, I like, dislike, and just random comments/observations. Today is things I like in the flat.
Likes: the toilet. Has a cool wall circle flusher-big for large loads/small for tinkle. Also,it's attatched to the wall, so I can clean right under it, with no yucky floor mount stuff. The flat has radiant heated floors, and the bathrooms,wall radiator/towel bars. I found a cheap brand of tp that I like better than any in the states. Kitchen sink has a built-in drainer. Flat is on the canal, which has ducks. One (yes, I'm convinced it is only one) quacks like (s)he is laughing. Since the heat is in the floor, the temp is usually warm enough, but it's still cool enough to leave the butter on the counter, so it's always spreadable. I love the electric kettle. It heats water in a minute. Next post, things I don't like about the flat.
