I came, I saw, I conquered. Then I gave up. After being sick for almost a month (yes, I saw a Dr. twice) we're coming home early. Coughing till my chest feels like it will explode has been no fun. Bryan said this morning, after hearing me cough all night, that it didn't matter what it cost, we're going home early.
Rome & Florence have both been fabulous in different ways. I'm so glad we came, but as it's getting colder, I feel worse. The first 2 days in Rome were short sleeve days, and even the 3rd day was pretty nice. But now it's not so nice. Venice is amazing-my favorite by far, but very cold. The ride on the vaperetto down the grand canal was fabulous.
Italians are impatient to the point of what we consider rude.
