Things I dislike about the flat. Even though it's a good location, it's a 15 minute walk to the closest part of city centre. It is good exercise, but now that it's very cold, and I have a cold, it's no longer enjoyable. Buses only run once an hour from here, and are about $2.00 (American $). There are no screens on the windows. Apparently, they are seldom used here. Don't like bugs (and hornets) inside. No disposal. Although I'm very thankful we have a washer/dryer in the flat, it is one appliance that does both. I can only do small loads, and anything heavy, needs to be split into 2 dryer loads. It takes 3-4 hours to do one small load. Computer! For people who can't understand why I haven't emailed much while I'm here, read on! In addition to the fact that Bryan needs it for work, our wireless access goes down on an almost daily basis-sometime several times a day. Our hot water is unpredictable. We have read the hot water heater instruction over and over, and we still have problems, as have past directors here. You should hear Bryan scream like a little girl when the hot water runs out in the middle of a shower!
